In the fall of 2008, pending approval, NJIT will offer a degree called Computational Sciences. The degree will appeal to high school students who want to use high performance computing to solve scientific problems, revolutionizing science.

May 19-21, 2008. Focus will be on Mathematical Biology (including Mathematical Neuroscience, Developmental Biology, and Ecology), Mathematical Fluid Dynamics, Applied Statistics and Biostatistics, Electromagnetics/Waves, and Acoustics. There will be Plenary Sessions, parallel invited minisymposia, and poster sessions.
